AFFILIATE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT PROGRAMME- ATAP

ATAP provides a unique training programme which truly values the process of learning. Student assessments are moderated by the Royal Ballet School and certificates will be issued by them when the required standard of each level has been achieved by the student.

Students engaged in the ATAP programme will gain:

* A love and knowledge of the art form as a whole.

* An enjoyment of the learning process.

* A solid technical foundation in Ballet and generic movement skills.

* Confidence through the ability to work autonomously, and within a group.

* A positive and resilient approach to learning.

ATAP classes include Repertoire, Body Conditioning, Creative Practice and Choreography alongside performance skills of Ballet vocabulary, based on the Royal Ballet Schools’ Model for Optimal Dance Training.

​Affiliate Teachers create their own classes without a set syllabus, in order to meet the learning needs of each of their students. This is a revolutionary approach to teaching dance.
